High in protein, zinc, B-vitamins and thiamin, a 3-oz. serving of corned beef has 210 calories. Like any beef, it’s high in fat, so limit your portion and enjoy every bite!
Corned beef is the most fattiest meat out there because it comes from under the topside of the cow. All meat from that area of the cow seems to contain more fat. As far as corned beef, the fat is marbleized, and you do not see it all. Boiling the corned beef, does not take out the fat. Keep in mind that the more fat content in meat, the more tender the meat.
It’s something to be eaten in moderation because it tastes good, not because it’s healthy across the board.
