Sausage is made from the grounded meat of veal, beef or pork by adding salt, breadcrumbs and spices. It is made from intestine. It could be barbecued, broiled and pan-fried. It is preserved by curing, smoking, drying and freezing. It is also preserved by salting organs and tissues such as organ meats, fat, blood and scraps which would be stuffed into tubular casings that is made with the clean intestines and is cylindrical in shape.
